The slow-burning, low-light, half-tempo blues rock of Chicago duo Redgrave hit The Burlington last night and owned the entire room for 40 minutes, playing the entirety of their debut EP National Act, plus a couple of new songs. Stephen Howard played his kit like he was about to body slam a dude from the third rope of a wrestling ring, and Angie Mead’s upside-down guitar and massive voice rattled the beer in half-empty pint glasses sitting on the bar, T-Rex style.
